Carmel over at Rabid Reads had a great Weekly Question this week, and I thought I would ask one similar. For those that celebrate Christmas, what’s on your book wish list this season? For those that don’t celebrate, if you were going to buy or receive books anytime soon, what would be on your wish list?
I love getting books as gifts, but unless I give specifics, it’s hard for my husband to get me book gifts. So, he’ll either give me a gift card or just let me pick out my books myself. So, this year I picked out an autographed copy of Maggie Stiefvater’s Blue Lily, Lily Blue (The Raven Boys #3) and The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare. I have them already, and told my hubby not to worry with wrapping them (we don’t usually do much Christmas gift exchanging between ourselves, it’s mostly for our kids anyway). I was hoping to read them by now, but things have been so crazy!!!
(On a side note, aren’t both these covers gorgeous?!?!)
Anyway, that’s all that was on my wish list, at least for purchasing myself (LOL!). There’s tons of other books I’d love to have, read, or re-read, but I’m restraining myself. I have soooo many books on my physical shelves & my Kindle shelves that I REALLY need to read before I buy any more books. I keep telling myself that, but more books keep catching my interest. So, we’ll see, LOL.
So, what’s on your book wish list?
I’m happily confessing that I’m finally reading The Raven Boys on my road trip away, yippee! It looks like you’ve got some wonderful books picked out for Christmas, and an autographed version makes it even more special. Have a wonderful Christmas Tricia!

Yay!! I hope you enjoy The Raven Boys as much as I do! I love autographed books, so occasionally I’ll pay the extra. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas too! Thanks for stopping by!
I thought about featuring Blue Lily, Lily Blue on last week’s question post, but I probably won’t be reading it for several months still, so I opted for MUST HAVE titles instead. Plus, I listened to the previous two installments which means I’d have to ask Santa for those ones too. Thanks for the shout out, girl!

You’re welcome! I love your weekly questions & this one is perfect for this week! I haven’t read my copy of Blue Lily yet either & it’s driving me crazy!! I plan on reading it as soon as Christmas is over!!Can’t wait!! Thanks for stopping by!! Hope you have a great Christmas!
There’s nothing like getting books as gifts…whether it’s a gift card or the physical book itself, I just don’t care! *snickers* I was really lucky this year because a good friend of mine got me the 20th anniversary edition of Outlander and I almost fainted when I opened the box! Then I gave myself the collector’s edition of Eleanor and Park! ♥ I guess you could say that Christmas came early for me!

Those are awesome book gifts!!! So jealous!! Both of those books are on my wish list to own someday. I’ve read both, but I borrowed them from the library because I didn’t know how much I would love them!!! Love your early Christmas gifts!!
oh boy I’ve got tons of books on my book wishlist. TONS. But for Christmas I let everyone know I want the Rosie Project& The Rosie Effect under my tree since I’ve been dying to get my hands on them! Great question!

Can’t wait to hear what bookish gifts you decide on! Harry Potter books are always on my wish list because I only have 2 (I borrowed from friends & library to read them)!! I really love the new covers they came out with last year, but the whole set is expensive — and I have to have the whole set!! LOL!! Quite honestly, I really like the old covers too, so I’m “wishing” for all!!
Also, don’t worry you can borrow my Blue Lily & my Bane Chronicles!!
LOL I’m proud of you, you were able to pick 2 books? I don’t even know if I could, so difficult with huge wish list. I usually give a lot of them when someone asks me because I can’t choose myself.

Well, I’d love to have more books & there’s soooo many more I want, but I’m restraining myself LOL!! It was hard to figure out what to add to my collection for now & what to save for later. Very hard!! Thanks for commenting & I hope you get some great books for gifts!!
My wishlist is to have all the good Urban Fantasy books in the world! I want to read so many of them but they can get expensive on Amazon so I’ve refrained from buying anything for a while
That and mayhaps Brandon Sanderson’s books in delicious hardcover… I could just eat them with my eyes ;D

I know, if I had all the books I want, it would be sooo expensive! I’ve been refraining myself from buying much — because if expense but also so I can catch up on reading what I already have. Hope some of your book wishes are fulfilled soon! Thanks for sharing!
Such a hard question! Probably The Sea of Tranquility since I don’t have a print copy. I would love the original indie cover. So gorgeous!

I haven’t heard of that one, may need to check into it! Some covers are so beautiful that they make me want them — without even knowing what they’re about! Hope you get the book soon! Thanks for stopping by!
Heeeee, I received The Bane Chronicles for Christmas and it looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! And there are these manga illustrations in it so YOU HAVE TO GET IT ^^ Nice small list!! (Darn, you’re not greedy at all!!)
It looks amazing! I can’t wait to read it! Magnus was one of my favorite characters from the Mortal Instruments series. Thanks for commenting! Can’t wait to see your thoughts on The Bane Chronicles!
